Team Growth in Manufacturing Month

The team at ArcelorMittal has a lot to celebrate and be thankful for as we turn the corner toward Thanksgiving. The first Friday in October is celebrated as National Manufacturing Month, and in Ohio, it kicks off a full month of celebrating manufacturing. The manufacturing workforce can make or break an organization, but here at ArcelorMittal, the team is making it all happen, and that’s who we’re celebrating.

New Team Members in October

We welcomed 11 new hourly employees to the Shelby team on October 4 to kick off the month. This marks the 11th new group of employees that have begun their story at ArcelorMittal since the start of the year. We are so proud of this team and the growth we’ve seen, with nearly 100 new employees all contributing to make ArcelorMittal successful.

Frank LaRose Visits ArcelorMittal Shelby

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose selected ArcelorMittal Shelby as the Ohio Business Spotlight and visited our facilities to recognize the excellent work our employees perform day in and day out.

Although this was the first time Frank LaRose had visited our facilities in Shelby, it was not his first visit to Shelby. He is well aware of the rich history we have in this community. We are part of something that we can all be very proud of.
