Engineering Co-Op (Process)   
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Shelby, LLC a manufacturer of welded and seamless tubing, is seeking an Engineering Co-Op.  ArcelorMittal Shelby is a part of the North American Tubular Products Division of ArcelorMittal, which is one of the world’s largest steel company with 160,000 employees in more than 30 countries. 

The Co-Op experience offers a variety of hands-on-training and exposure to the many different aspects of Engineering:

• Developing scope of work and basic schedules
• Participating in process improvement projects through data collection and analysis
• Assisting Process Engineer with day to day responsibilities
• May need to work different shifts as required.
• Perform special projects or assignments as needed.

EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sophomore/Junior standing seeking a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have superb management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Innovative, self-motivated, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent proficiency in computer technologies especially Microsoft Office software.
